Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be Public Trust eligible, and able to pass a background check. Prior experience with government or commercial vehicles and knowledge of DC/MD/VA routes are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (if required) and a clean driving record.
• Eligible for Public Trust clearance and pass a background check.
• Experience driving commercial or government vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of DC/MD/VA traffic routes and regulations.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck to transport materials within the DMV area, obeying safety regulations.
• Ensure timely and secure deliveries for the government client.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and fuel usage.
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
