Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Phoenix, AZ. The position offers weekly pay, an hourly rate of $29.50, 40+ hours per week, and a driver-friendly schedule with 4-day work weeks and nights out in a Ryder-paid hotel.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a day cab, regional routes, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Benefits start after 30 days, with PTO, uniforms, boot allowance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check incl. prior 3 years drug/alcohol verification.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months / 2 years / 5 years windows.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $29.50 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• 1 - 2 Nights out per week booked in a Ryder Paid Hotel
• Paid Training
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days
• Schedule: Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
• 1 Day off within the week - will vary
• 4 Day Work Week - 10 hour days
• Start Time: 5:00 AM
