Job summary

ALTOR is seeking a Driver (CDL) to safely and professionally deliver goods in our shipping/warehouse operations. You will support our mission to protect people, products, and the environment by ensuring timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles, securing loads, managing BOLs, and using handheld scanners. A valid CDL (A/B) with 2+ years’ experience and a current medical card are required, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B license with 2+ years of commercial vehicle experience.
• Valid driver’s license and current medical card.
• Experience in warehouse operations (loading/unloading, inventory handling) preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete daily deliveries, complying with DOT regulations and ALTOR safety standards.
• Represent ALTOR professionally with a polite, positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
• Accurately manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and pick sheets.
• Secure loads properly and use hands-free devices per safety protocols.
• Use handheld scanners to retrieve, stage, load, and unload products per layout specifications.
