Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Wilmington, MA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Drive locally to MA within 100 miles, 40+ hours per week, with paid training and a Monday–Friday schedule. Start times range from 4:30 AM to 6:00 AM, and Ryder provides safety-focused operations and support across 800+ locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• $3500 in Bonuses within the 1st Year
• Hours Per Week: 40 or more hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Start Time: Between 4:30 AM - 6:00 AM

• Deliver SOLOto:MA; within 100 mile radius
• Route: Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type: 26' Straight truck
• Equipment: Lift gate, pallet jack and hand truck
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:Touch - HVAC Equipment
• Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
