Job summary

AmeriGas Propane is seeking Delivery Representatives in Carson City, Nevada. You will safely deliver propane and provide excellent customer service while adhering to all safety standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, be able to work outdoors, and lift up to 70 lbs. This position offers a sign-on bonus and a variety of benefits including medical coverage, 401(k), and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform safely under federal and state codes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a local Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
• Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

The pay for this position ranges from $28.70 to $29.70, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
