Job summary

CHS UnitedPlains in Holyoke, CO is seeking a Truck Driver/Applicator to operate a sprayer and drive a tractor-trailer for field applications. The role requires applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides with safety and efficiency.

Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain is preferred. You will support customers, maintain equipment, and coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely deliveries and accurate orders while complying with all regulations and safety

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under supervision.
• Deliver products to customers as needed.
• Assist customers with product information and field techniques.
• Support sales staff to ensure orders are accurate and customers are served.
• Perform warehouse tasks including driving loader or forklift and maintenance.
• Lift and load products as needed (1-2 hours daily).
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws including hours of service.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and complete daily inspections.
• Training provided: operation of application equipment.
