WM is seeking a CDL-B heavy-duty truck operator in New Jersey to manage designated routes with safety at the forefront. The role emphasizes pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting of any unsafe conditions, and collaboration with Route Managers to optimize efficiency.

Candidates must meet CDL-B license requirements, be 18 or older, and pass drug screening and physicals. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with daily duties aligning to route-based logistics and customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL-Class B license required.
• 1 year CDL vehicle operation or equivalent military driving in last 7 years.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy-duty truck on assigned routes per regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and DVIR notes.
• Reports unsafe conditions to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Participates in training and meetings.
• Works with Route Managers to improve route efficiency.
• Notifies Route Manager of incidents or damage.
• Ensures containers are dumped with lids replaced and no debris left.
