Job summary

StructureCraft in Washington state is seeking a Local CDL Truck Driver for a contract role from April 2025 through December 2025. You will operate a heavy truck safely, transport goods, and ensure cargo is loaded, strapped, and tarped correctly while following all regulations.

You’ll perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report issues to the Project Manager, and help with yard logistics. The position emphasizes safety, reliability and strong organizational skills with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience in heavy truck or tractor-trailer driving, with knowledge of local/state laws.
• Able to lift and maneuver heavy cargo.
• Strong attention to documentation and vehicle inspection.

About the role

We are seeking a Local CDL Truck Driver to join our team! This is a contract position starting in April 2025 and ending in December 2025. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safety, reliability, and strong organizational skills.

What you’ll do

• Operate a truck with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 45,000 pounds safely and in compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Ensure timely and efficient transport of goods while following all company safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, strap, and tarp cargo securely for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good operating condition, reporting any issues to the Project Manager immediately.
• Receive goods at the yard and supervise yard logistics

Qualifications

• A valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in heavy truck or tractor-trailer driving, with a strong understanding of local and state driving laws.
• Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting and maneuvering heavy cargo as needed.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and vehicle inspection.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and report any issues.
