Job summary

Miller Pipeline, a premier underground pipeline construction and repair contractor, is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to transport equipment, materials, and pipe to various destinations across the U.S. The role requires a clean driving record, current Class A CDL, and a minimum of five years of over-the-road driving experience.

You will be responsible for loading/unloading, maintaining logs, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and coordinating with supervision for hauling instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 0–3 months related experience may be considered.
• Five years over-the-road driving experience, including load securing.
• Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment.
• Experience operating and moving heavy equipment.
• Current medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and from specified locations.
• Prepare receipts for loads picked up and delivered.
• Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Follow PPE policies as specified.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor for hauling instructions.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and proper vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate emergency roadside repairs as needed.

Miller Pipeline is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to drive commercial motor vehicle with capacity of more than three tons, to transport equipment, materials, pipe, etc., to and from specified destinations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive to and from specified locations.
• Prepare receipts for loads picked up and delivered.
• Maintain IVMR sheets and truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Responsible to follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies as specified.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive hauling or delivery instructions.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and for proper maintenance of assigned vehicle.
• Perform or coordinate emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs and tire chains.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of education.
• Five years over-the-road driving experience, including securing the load.
• Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment.
• Experience operating and moving heavy equipment.
• Current medical certificate.

Current Class A CDLDriver's License and clean driving record.
