Job summary

All Surfaces Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A or B CDL Truck Driver for route deliveries in the Bridgeport, WV area.

The driver will operate straight box trucks or semi-trucks, loading and unloading with forklifts, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers throughout WV and nearby states. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of CDL experience, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL (Class A or B) and DOT drug test clearance.
• Minimum 2 years CDL experience in commercial transportation.
• Ability to comply with DOT/FMCSA and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify loads for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
• Deliver merchandise to destinations on schedule and safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations to dispatch.
• Communicate with the dispatch and customer care teams on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

We are immediately seeking a qualified Class A or B CDL Truck Driver who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done right and on time. An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries in a straight box truck or semi-truck.

Branch: Abraham Linc in Bridgeport, WV

Work Schedule:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday. Off Wednesdays and Weekends. Depending on routes, the start and end time can vary.

Routes:All of WV; as far North as Erie, PA and as far east as Frederick, MD; neighboring areas of VA, OH, and KY (that border WV).

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
• Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customer care team on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.

Other Qualifications

• Must have a CDL (Class A or B) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
• Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
• Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.
• Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
