Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania is seeking a CDL Transportation Driver to move residents between campuses and on outings. You must hold a PA CDL with a Passenger Endorsement and be able to operate wheelchair buses. This PRN role offers flexible days, up to 10 hours per week, with pay at $20/hour.

• Possess a current commercial driver's license (CDL) from the state of Pennsylvania with a Class B, P Endorsement plus airbrake endorsement.
• Ability to drive cars, vans or buses carrying 14 passengers or more, including operations of a wheelchair bus.
• Experience securing wheelchairs and other mobility devices preferred.

• Operate and manage vehicle transportation of residents and guests, including wheelchair bus operations.
• Drive vehicles safely and efficiently for activity outings, trips and shuttle runs.

CDL Transporation Driver

(Must have CDL including Passenger Endorsement)

PRN (As needed) | Flexible Hours - Days | Up to 10 hours/week | Pay $20/hour

This role offers daily opportunities to build meaningful connections with our residents in a friendly, supportive environment.

As a CDL Transporation Driver, you will carry out our Mission of Love by transporting all Masonic Village's residents to the Masonic Health Care Center, Residential Living Area, and the Retirement Living area; and to transport assigned passengers on in-town and out-of-town trips and therapeutic recreation activities.

Our CDL Transporation Driver, is responsible for the following:

• Responsible for operation of Masonic Village vehicles for the purpose of transporting residents and guests on activity outings, trips and shuttle runs. This would include preparing seating arrangement for wheelchair buses, notifying appropriate Masonic Village personnel when there is an emergency, logging accurate attendance and documenting activity as required.
• Operate all vehicles used for transportation of Masonic Village's passengers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains commercial driver's license (CDL) and abides by the rules and regulations set forth by the licensure.
• Transports passengers as assigned, and assists passengers in and out of vehicles in accordance with their physical capabilities.
• Maneuver wheelchairs into position and be able to safely secure them in wheelchair bus.

What You Need as a CDL Transporation Driver:
