Job summary

Electra Grid Solutions is seeking a Transmission Driver to safely transport equipment and support transmission construction, maintenance, and repair projects across outdoor sites in Georgia. A Class A CDL, physical stamina, and strict safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical labor outdoors.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic rigging.
• Familiarity with line materials, hand tools, and basic electrical concepts.
• Ability to identify voltage and maintain proper safety distances.
• Must pass background, drug and alcohol checks, and DOT medical requirements.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.
• Assist transmission line construction tasks (stringing, setting poles, installing grounds).
• Support installation of crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.
• Work around energized high‑voltage systems with safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicles and tools; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety policies and participate in training.
