Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Loveland, CO is seeking a reliable transfer driver to move loads between company locations. You will operate commercial motor vehicles, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure accurate load verification.

A valid CDL and DOT medical card are required. The role involves extended hours, occasional weekends, and forklift/pallet jack duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card.
• Physical demands include walking, bending, standing, and ability to lift up to 48 pounds; operate forklift and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep company vehicle neat and clean at all times.
• Report vehicle damage and maintenance needs to the Shop and Team Leader.
• Verify accuracy of loads before delivery.
• Hook and unhook trailers safely.
• Deliver internal mail as required.
• Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication at all levels.
