Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking candidates for Route Sales (Class A CDL) or those willing to obtain a CDL. The role involves local deliveries to accounts, daily merchandising, and on-the-job training to earn a CDL with home daily schedules.

You will operate a company vehicle, ensure safe loads, collect payments, and maintain excellent customer service. Previous driving experience preferred; training provided to obtain CDL and Medical DOT Card.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
Able to lift and move 30 lbs repeatedly.
Able to stand and walk for 8 hours daily.
CDL Class A or ability to obtain CDL.
Medical DOT Card required.

Responsibilities

Operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers daily.
Ensure loads are stacked, wrapped and secured before departures.
Collect payments and obtain customer signatures for received products.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Stock and merchandise products according to company standards.
Provide professional customer service and communicate with clients.
Complete receipts, deposits and end-of-day paperwork.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Home daily with no long-haul driving.

This position entails the chosen candidate to operate a company vehicle locally and deliver & merchandise product to accounts daily. The Route Sales position is for a candidate who is a driven, independent worker with a customer service personality.

Route Sales Requirements

Obtain CDL Permit
Pass DOT physical and obtain Medical Card
Attend New Employee Orientation as well as formal sales training.
Complete day long ride a-longs with members of sales team to learn all aspects of the business.
Successfully completing training for and obtain a Class A CDL.
Learn how to properly complete daily DVIR logs and Pre trip/ Post trip inspections daily.

Job Requirements of a Route Salesman

Operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
Ensure load is stacked, wrapped, and secure each day before leaving PMA and after each stop.
Collect payments for all cash accounts and obtain signatures of receipt from all customers for all products sold.
Follow company standard policies and procedures.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise all products in accordance with company procedure.
Ensure good customer service by communicating with all parties with business professional attitude.
Complete all receipts, deposits, and end of day paperwork in accordance with company policy.
Perform other duties deemed necessary by supervisor.
