Job summary

Service Tire Truck Centers in Richmond, VA is seeking a Route Driver responsible for pick up and delivery of tires and wheels to customers and STTC locations. You will load/unload, verify invoices, obtain signatures, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while logging mileage and paperwork daily.

The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), 1 year related experience, basic math, and ability to follow instructions. Forklift certification is a plus; uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: 1 year or more related work experience.
• Language skills: read and interpret safety rules, write routine reports, speak with customers.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Computer skills: basic; training provided as needed.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Valid Driver's License; CDL Class A or B; clean driving record; Forklift Certification.
• Equipment: capable of operating lift gates, box truck or tractor trailer, forklift; forklift certification may be required.
• Dress code: uniforms provided; keep a neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck or tractor trailer to deliver tires and/or wheels to customers or STTC locations.
• Load and unload tires and wheels.
• Ensure accuracy on delivery invoices.
• Issue or obtain customer signature on invoices/receipts.
• Keep truck clean inside and out.
• Complete daily mileage and pickup reports; submit daily.
• Perform daily routine maintenance to keep the truck safe.
• Adhere to safety rules; report issues to Branch Manager.
• Ensure products leave with proper paperwork; report violations.
• Performs other duties as needed; ensure prompt service.
