Select Chemistry’s CDL Hazmat Driver role focuses on safely operating a tractor-trailer with tank configurations, delivering chemicals to regional sites and maintaining compliance with DOT requirements. The driver loads and unloads where needed, uses a forklift, and ensures a clean, safe work environment.

The position emphasizes strong teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• Energy service experience helpful.
• Exhibit ability to be a strong team player.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high quality work.
• Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver chemicals to regional internal customer sites within the region.
• Use forklift to unload chemical totes at delivery sites.
• Maintain DOT logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on company vehicles.
• Conduct basic maintenance to ensure safe vehicle condition.
• Communicate repairs needed for vehicles to the supervisor.
