Job summary

Devon Energy Corp. in Fairhope, AL seeks a Tractor/Water Truck Driver to haul fluids and occasionally perform site work. Role requires CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement, DOT compliance, and the ability to operate water pumps and related equipment.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, following loading/unloading SOPs, and logging hours via ELD. Must be prepared for varied weather, weekends/holidays, and travel between field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement is required.
• Valid Medical Card required.
• Ability to operate water trucks and related equipment.
• Comfort working in varied weather and physical activity.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Safe driver with knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on the water trucks.
• Follow SOPs for loading/unloading water trucks.
• Comply with Federal, State, and Local DOT and environmental regulations.
• Be knowledgeable of water truck and pump functions.
• Use safety devices such as lights, signals, PPE as required.
• Communicate via radio/CB with fellow drivers when entering/exiting pads or water withdrawals.
• Report to site work duties as needed and coordinate with dispatch.
• Log hours using the in-cab ELD for hours of service and workflows.
