Job summary

Sunoco is seeking a qualified CDL-A tanker driver to load, transport, and unload petroleum products at Sunoco and customer locations in the Philadelphia area. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and adherence to company policies, with rotating or varying shifts and mandatory pre/post-trip inspections.

You must have 18 months of verifiable Class A driving experience, a current CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 18 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL with X endorsement (Tanker and Hazmat).
• Must pass a current DOT physical.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards.

Responsibilities

• Be able to safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck.
• Be able to safely transport loaded vehicle to assigned delivery point.
• Prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal DOT Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Must be able and willing to obtain TWIC card (depending on location).
