Job summary

Onvo seeks a Petroleum Transport Driver to load, unload and deliver fuel safely to company sites and customers. You will inspect vehicles, verify loads with shipping papers and maintain duty status in accordance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include driving to destinations, performing routine maintenance, completing logs and reports, and staying compliant with safety standards. Requires Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record with a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• No DUI/DWI in commercial vehicle; may consider prior DUI/DWI if more than 10 years in personal vehicle.
• Must be insurable and meet all DOT requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; good English communication and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck to transport fuel to designated sites and customers, loading/unloading per procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle in DOT-compliant standards.
• Complete logs, tickets, reports and paperwork as required; report incidents to dispatcher.
• Maintain safe driving practices and adherence to traffic laws; participate in routine maintenance as needed.
• Build professional relationships with company personnel and customers.
