Now Hiring: Slickline & Swabbing Technician (Class B CDL Required)Location: Midland, TX

Position SummaryA growing oilfield service company is seeking a Slickline & Swabbing Technician with a valid Class B CDL to support well intervention and production operations throughout the Permian Basin. This position is responsible for performing slickline and swabbing services, troubleshooting well production issues, operating specialized equipment, and safely transporting equipment to and from job locations. The ideal candidate will have strong oilfield experience, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently while delivering quality service to customers in the field.

Essential Job Dutiesbut not limited to:

• Operate slickline and swab rigs for well servicing and production enhancement operations.
• Perform swabbing operations to unload wells with high fluid production and assist in returning wells to production.
• Bail sand, scale, paraffin, and other debris from wellbores.
• Tag total depth (TD) and verify well conditions.
• Gauge and broach tubing.
• Set and retrieve tubing plugs and gas lift valves.
• Cut and remove paraffin buildup from tubing.
• Conduct bottom hole pressure, pressure gradient, and temperature surveys.
• Open and close sliding sleeves.
• Run and pull plunger lift installations.
• Run memory tools and collect downhole data.
• Perform production testing and well evaluations.
• Conduct fishing operations to recover lost or damaged downhole equipment.
• Perforate tubing as required.
• Inspect, maintain, and service equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Complete field tickets, job reports, and required documentation accurately.
• Safely transport equipment and tools to customer locations using company vehicles.
• Maintain compliance with all company, customers, and industry safety standards.

Qualifications

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Previous experience in slickline, swabbing, well servicing, or related oilfield operations preferred. Knowledge of well intervention procedures and downhole tools. Ability to perform tubing plug, gas lift valve, and plunger lift operations. Experience with pressure surveys, temperature surveys, and production testing preferred. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and tools. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Capable of working long hours and responding to operational demands. Ability to safely work in oilfield environments under varying conditions.
