Job summary

VPNE is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver to transport employees and customers between parking facilities and designated areas in a safe, courteous manner. The role emphasizes vehicle maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and professional communication with passengers and managers.

Qualifications

Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
High school diploma or GED completed.
CDL Class A/B/C with Passenger Endorsement required.
Updated Medical Certificate; DPU Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety standards while transporting employees to their designated area.
Ensure the vehicle meets all safety requirements and is up to date with the maintenance schedule.
Follow all traffic signs/laws and maintain posted speed limits.
Ensure all passengers are authorized to board the Shuttle.
Maintain a set schedule to minimize delays.
Ensure each passenger has a positive experience.
Resolve issues in a timely manner.
Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy in every interaction.
Relay necessary information clearly to Managers and passengers via the Shuttle radio.
