Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Driver to transport full goods and raw materials between our manufacturing facility and nearby warehouse, ensuring a steady flow of products to support production.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, maintain accurate delivery records, and communicate with plant and warehouse teams while following DOT rules and our safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience (preferably in manufacturing or warehouse settings).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to haul full goods and raw materials between designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and weight distribution.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, dates, and destinations.
• Communicate effectively with the Kit Plant and Warehouse teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating vehicles.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times.
• Flexibility to work overtime and non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
