Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform the work.
• Requires appropriate licenses or certifications to operate assigned types of vehicles or equipment.
• Preferred licensure: NC A, B, or C with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus on assigned route and schedule.
• Provide safe and efficient transportation for students, faculty and staff.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Obey traffic laws and university regulations while operating the bus.
• Create a customer service oriented environment for users.
• Complete required reports and secure the vehicle before leaving.
