Job summary

Pasadena City College is seeking a Shuttle Driver to operate district vehicles on PCC routes and during field trips, with shifts Mon-Fri (6:30am-3pm, 7:30am-4pm, or 9am-5:30pm). You will maintain daily logs and support transportation tasks, ensuring safety and on-time service.

The role requires a California CDL Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement and the ability to drive vehicles up to 26,000 lbs, plus clear communication via radios. On-site work at PCC campuses is expected.

Qualifications

• California CDL Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement (must be able to drive up to 26,000 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Operate a district vehicle on the Pasadena City College shuttle route and on Field trips as needed.
• Complete accurate daily logs
• Conduct safety and mechanical inspections of a variety of passenger vehicles
• Communicate with drivers and staff using two-way radios and/or cellular phones
• Assist Transportation Department staff with transportation related duties
