Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Service Technician with CDL to support field delivery of chemicals and provide technical trouble shooting for designated clients. The role requires delivering products, performing vehicle inspections, and coordinating daily routes to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of DOT driving experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and maintain insurability with Company insurance.
• Must have at least one (1) year of previous DOT driving experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management.
• Requires a strong sense of direction and knowledge of surrounding areas.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting support for designated client business and deliver chemicals.
• Load trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and maintain truck and equipment in safe condition.
• Maintain delivery location maps and comply with DOT and Homeland Security regulations.
• Complete work tickets with detailed daily activity and communicate field problems to sales and supervisor.
• Adhere to safety gear usage and participate in safety trainings monthly.
• Respond to on-call duties and handle on-call communication per policy.
