Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess all valid applicable state licenses and other required certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must hold current NYSED School Bus Driver Instructor (SBDI) certification or meet prerequisites.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations related to student transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on designated routes.
• Recruit and train individuals to become School Bus Drivers.
• Provide classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training.
• Administer ongoing training and performance evaluations for drivers.
• Investigate customer service complaints and take corrective action.
