Job summary

University of Florida is seeking an OPS School Bus Driver to transport K-12 students on field trips and athletic events from the Main Campus in Gainesville, FL. The role requires a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, a clean driving record, and a commitment to student safety.

Nights, weekends, and occasional overnight trips may be needed. Prior to operation, drivers must meet Florida CDL requirements and undergo a Level 2 DCF background check.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements required.
• Clean and satisfactory driving record required.
• Strong commitment to student safety and responsible driving.
• Willingness to work a variable schedule including nights and weekends.
• Level 2 DCF Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Occasional out-of-town, evening, and overnight trips may be required.
