New York City School Bus Umbrella Services in Brooklyn, NY is hiring School Bus Drivers for full-time, on-site positions. A $7,500 signing bonus is paid within the first year, with additional $750 referral bonus for bringing in new CDL drivers.

Qualified applicants must be at least 21, eligible to work in the U.S., hold a NY Commercial Driver's License with passenger and student endorsements, and pass background, medical, and driving tests as required by state and district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have or in the process of obtaining a valid Commercial Drivers license, with both student and passenger endorsements
• Must qualify following criminal and driving history checks in accordance with Federal, State and local guidelines
• Must be able to pass, both upon initial employment physical examination per District guidelines
• Must be able to read and comprehend the Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of School Transportation Vehicles
• Must satisfactorily complete the NYCSBUS training program and driving test
• Must attain an acceptable score on written examination pertaining to school bus laws and regulations
• Must pass drug and alcohol and Department of Motor Vehicle report screenings prior to employment; with a valid state license or ID
