Job summary

Serrato Corporation is seeking a full-time bus driver in McKinney, TX to transport students to various locations, medical centers, and events. You will operate the Center bus, maintain vehicle condition, and ensure student safety while adhering to policies and procedures in a 24/7 environment.

Minimum one year of driving multiple passengers is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is needed. A valid state driver’s license and DOT readiness are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Computer literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving habits and practices; following all state and national safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to pass DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Transports students to various cities by bus for recreational and educational purposes.
• Transports students to various medical centers.
• Transports equipment and/or commodities by vehicle to the Center.
• Transports students for other various reasons.
• Transports staff to and from commercial carriers.
• Transports students to various community relations work projects.
• Operates Center bus as required.
• Cleans vehicles and reports mechanical conditions.
• Transports vehicles to various maintenance centers.
• Ensures acceptable student behavior is demonstrated.
• Works towards meeting performance standard goals.
• Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily.
• Adheres to required property control policies and procedures.
• Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Serrato policies and procedures, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
