Job summary

Tender Lawn Care is seeking reliable Salt Truck Operators with a CDL to join our winter crew. You will safely remove snow and ice from commercial and residential properties, parking lots, sidewalks, and other areas during winter weather.

Responsibilities include operating salt truck equipment, applying de-icing materials, performing pre-trip inspections, and coordinating with supervisors. Overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required in response to weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks including lifting and operating snow removal equipment.
• Ability to report to work on time, often with short notice during snowstorms.
• Previous snow removal equipment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate salt truck equipment to remove snow and ice from designated areas.
• Apply de-icing materials to walkways, parking lots, and surfaces as needed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain communication with supervisors for route assignments and updates.
• Work overnight, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on weather.
