Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an experienced delivery driver to operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. You will execute routes, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate Hours of Service records while delivering merchandise to store locations with a high level of customer service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, a current DOT physical, and the ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Valid DOT medical certification and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Strong attention to detail required to accurately verify freight, documentation, and delivery information.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Execute assigned delivery routes according to stop order and schedule.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per FMCSA and company standards.
• Maintain Hours of Service records using telematics or logs as required.
• Verify freight bills and shipment contents before unloading and secure cargo as needed.
• Coordinate with transportation leadership to ensure efficient route execution.
• Adapt to changing schedules and demands, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with customers.
