Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL-A delivery driver to transport building materials across Alaska, including Wasilla. You will load, secure, and deliver orders, assist with unloading, and maintain accurate delivery logs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and an active DOT medical card. Prior delivery experience and strong English communication are preferred to support customer service and Safe Driving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and CDL class A required.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years; ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders to designated sites and assists with unloading as needed.
• Loads/unloads materials, secures cargo, and ensures product protection during transit.
• Maintains logs of deliveries, mileage, and locations; verifies against invoices for accuracy.
• Acts as a customer service liaison, addressing concerns and ensuring professional service.
• Performs routine safety checks and ensures vehicles comply with company guidelines.
