Job summary

nexAir, LLC is seeking a dedicated delivery associate to safely upload, deliver, and retrieve hardgoods orders and compressed gas cylinders for customers. You will manage load manifests, balance truck counts, and maintain shipping documents before and after deliveries.

You will build strong customer relations, communicate delivery times and costs, monitor needs to minimize emergencies, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Lifting gauges up to 600 pounds and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year driving experience.
• CDL A or B with Hazmat.
• Employee must meet DOT physical standards.
• Clean MVR driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend MSDS.
• Must handle cylinders weighing 150–600 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Upload, deliver and download safely to customers hardgoods orders, as well as, cylinders containing compressed gases; return empty cylinders to plant for refilling.
• Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
• Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers, providing information on cost, ordering and delivery times, etc.
• Identify and monitor customers’ needs and work with them to maintain proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to minimize or eliminate emergency deliveries.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
