Rogue Disposal & Recycling, Inc. is seeking a CDL Route Driver in Medford, OR. Operate collection vehicles on designated routes, deliver to disposal facilities, and complete required paperwork using an on-board computer.

Requires Valid Class A or B CDL with air-brake endorsement, 1+ year of related experience, and knowledge of DOT rules. Starting pay $30.17/hour DOE; schedule is 4/10-hour shifts starting around 5:30–6:30 am with some days off and overtime as needed.

• Physical Capacity exam may be required

Responsabilités

• Safely operate garbage collection vehicles on assigned routes.
• Read route sheets and service each customer on the list.
• Complete daily inspections and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Load/unload cans and manhandle bins as needed without helpers.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Provide courteous customer service and follow safety policies.

ROGUE DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING, inc. aWasteConnections company is looking to hire a CDLRoute Driver to join the team!

Schedule:4/10hr shifts. Starting around 5:30-6:30am Ending when the route is complete. (Variable scheduled days off. Additional work on other days may be required as needed.)

Starting Pay: $30.17 DOE.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ANDACCOUNTABILITY

Responsible for safely operating collection equipment for the efficient and effective collection of solidwaste, and delivering those materials to a designated disposal facility. Responsible for completing requiredadministrative paperwork by use of an On-Board-Computer to maintain accurate company records and customer accounts.This Position requires you to work independently, in addition Drivers are expected to deliver excellence in customer service atall times. You may be cross trained in Automated Side Load Garbage Trucks, Front Load Garbage Trucks, and Roll Off Trucks.

• Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids,safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job,loading and unloading, moving waste bins to positions accessible by truck, and closing all enclosure gates as necessary, at times with no helpers.
• Operates hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
• Cleans up the area around accidental waste spills.
• Completes daily reports on pre and post trip inspections of equipment;
• Maintains the physical appearance of the equipment, including routine washing
• Monitors over and under filled carts/containers to assess changing service requirements;
• Monitors the condition and repair needs of existing carts/containers;
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work;heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to mount and dismount the truck multiple times every day while on route.
• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A or BCDLlicense withair brake endorsement.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening and motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids,safety equipment, and tires.
• Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws.
• Ability to work a physically demanding job.Loading and unloadingcans with no helpers.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
