Airgas is Hiring for a CDL Route Driver in BLOOMINGTON, IL.

This role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and vehicle safety inspections. You will professionally manage associate and customer relations, operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, and strictly adhere to all hazardous material safety protocols.
Vehicle Operation: Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, as well as hard goods, along designated routes.
Customer Service: Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction.
Documentation: Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures.
Logistics: Handle the loading and unloading of all materials.
Safety and Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintaining the vehicle's condition.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a representative of the company during all deliveries.
