Job summary

RK Supply in Midland, Texas, is seeking a professional route delivery driver to handle day-to-day sales, product transportation, issue, receipt, delivery and control for a distribution centre. Primary duties include driving trucks short and long distances to deliver a variety of products to customers in compliance with all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 8 years route delivery driver experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks and stage products for loading.
• Transport product to customers in a timely, safe manner.
• Verify incoming and outgoing product for accuracy and inventory counts.
• Communicate product information and availability to customers.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel records and other regulatory documents.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when needed following safety policies.
• Support warehouse duties and daily closing procedures.
• Ensure paperwork accompanies shipments and is available for inspection.
• Uphold company policies and deliver professional customer service.
• Abide by all state and federal transportation regulations.
