Job summary

Priority Waste Resources LLC in Romulus, MI is seeking a Roll Off Truck Driver to safely operate a roll off truck and related equipment on assigned routes, serving large industrial customers as well as residential and commercial accounts.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, drive in accordance with OSHA and DOT rules, communicate with customers and dispatch, and keep the vehicle clean and professional.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• 1 year experience operating a roll-off truck preferred.
• 1 year experience in solid waste industry preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check, physical and DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre and post trip inspections of truck.
• Operates truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Completes assigned route daily, leaving the customers location free of debris.
• Communicates with customers and dispatch as needed.
• Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any accidents, injuries, property damage, or incidents.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle and professional appearance.
