Job summary

PURIS is seeking a qualified Class A Truck Driver to join our delivery team in Harmony Township, PA. You will be responsible for safely transporting products from our production facilities to the job site or office location and assisting with unloading when needed.

Responsibilities include planning routes, securing loads, communicating with dispatch, performing routine vehicle maintenance, and maintaining delivery logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license required.
• MUST have step deck experience.
• 6+ months of driving a class A or larger truck a plus.
• Good driving record with minimal moving violations.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks a plus.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must pass a DOT Physical, background check, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Pick-up loads, organize goods in the truck, and secure packages.
• Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination.
• Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check oil, tire pressure, minor repairs, etc.).
• Complete daily pre-trip, during trip, and post-trip inspection as required.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Track and report working hours.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
