Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a dedicated driver to operate roll-off trucks and related equipment for waste collection. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, communicate mechanical issues, and maintain route quality as directed by supervision.

Emphasis on safety and punctual reporting will be key in this role. The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and the ability to generate accurate daily paperwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required or desired).
• Possess valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Able to demonstrate safe operation of truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily reports.
• Communicate mechanical problems to supervisor/ mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as determined by management.
• Follow safety standards, perform equipment checks, and wear PPE.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
