Job summary

Amwaste in Darien, GA is seeking a CDL Roll-Off Driver to safely operate heavy‑duty waste collection trucks on designated routes. You will load and transport containers, back into tight spaces, and interact with customers to ensure courteous service and community impact.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL Class B and medical card, maintain a clean driving record, and be 21 or older. Training is provided; benefits include paid vacation from day 1, competitive pay, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have an acceptable driving record.
• Have a valid CDL class B license.
• Have a valid Medical Card.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions or issues.
• Positions and returns containers on customer property and ensures access is not blocked.
• Follows route assignments and completes end-of-day documentation.
