Qualifications

• CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a commercial driver, preferably residential delivery.
• Knowledge of local and state traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items when needed.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Transport goods to residential addresses within routes.
• Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery logs and reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service addressing inquiries professionally.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
