Job summary

Tipp City Schools is seeking reliable and safety-focused Bus Drivers for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. This position is responsible for transporting students safely to and from school and related activities while maintaining a positive and orderly environment.

Qualified candidates should have a CDL with school bus endorsement (or ability to obtain), a satisfactory driving record, and complete Ohio school bus driver training and certification. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to meet all state and district requirements for school bus drivers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Successful BCI and FBI background checks.
• Completion of Ohio school bus driver training and certification.
• Compliance with all state and district transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus in accordance with all state and district regulations.
• Transport students on assigned routes and/or trips.
• Maintain order and ensure student safety on the bus.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
