Job summary

Multi Logistics Inc is seeking a skilled Amazon CDL Rail Driver to join our growing team in South Gate, CA. You will transport Amazon freight between rail yards and hubs, perform DOT-compliant inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. Training pay is $28/hr for two weeks, with day shifts at $30/hr and night shifts at $32/hr.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Clean MVR with no major violations.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable CDL driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with rail yard operations and intermodal freight a plus.
• Must be DOT compliant and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience with ELD systems and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Must be located in or able to commute to South Gate, CA.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport Amazon freight between rail yards, distribution centers, and delivery hubs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Safely maneuver and dock at rail facilities, warehouses, and Amazon fulfillment centers
• Maintain accurate driver logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
• Coordinate with rail yard and dispatch teams to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of loads
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or incidents
