Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking Delivery Representatives in the San Jose area to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers.

You will operate a propane delivery truck, fill bulk tanks, and deliver cylinders while upholding safety rules and customer service standards. Eligible candidates must hold a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, pass a DOT physical and background checks, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Follow AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures and all codes/regulations.
• Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.
