Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses in Virginia. Local routes mean you’ll be home each night, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You’ll operate propane trucks, perform inspections, and support customers with delivery questions. Qualifications include a Class A/B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain), a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
