Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC, a division with seven decades of service in propane distribution, is seeking Delivery Drivers to deliver, service, and install propane equipment. You will ensure safe handling, maintain DOT compliance, and complete all required paperwork for each stop.

The role emphasizes customer service and proper care of vehicles and equipment, with a standard Mon–Fri 8am–5pm schedule, occasional weekends and overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Maintain a valid CDL driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State DOT rules and regulations.
• General mechanical abilities.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to read maps and have good knowledge of geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local codes for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Handle the delivery schedule with multiple stops per day as directed.
• Resolve or address customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.
• Demonstrate responsibility regarding care, condition, safe handling and securing of all company and customer equipment.
• Submit all paperwork in order, complete and legible to supervisor daily.
• Cross-train in the service area to ensure timely response to general customer needs in propane and/or water where offered.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, security, and confidentiality of information and records.
• Attend all safety meetings, training and/or in-services as required.
• Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
