Job summary

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area in Boise, ID is seeking a Winter CDL Plow Crew member to operate snow-removal equipment, keeping roads and parking lots safe and accessible for guests during the December–April season. You will be part of a mission-driven nonprofit that supports mountain recreation and community programming.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Winter CDL Plow Crew member, you will operate snow removal equipment to keep roads and parking areas safe and accessible. You will maintain equipment, communicate conditions, and ensure the mountain is prepared for guest use.

A Day in the Life

Operate plow trucks, skid steers, wheel loaders, and other equipment to remove snow. Communicate with staff, and ensure all work is performed safely. Maintain a professional attitude toward guests, staff, and fellow operators.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

• Maintain a professional attitude toward guests, drivers, and staff.
• Assist in mountain rescue efforts, if necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

What You Bring to Bogus Basin

• Passionate about Bogus Basin’s Mission.
• Heavy equipment operation experience required.
• Valid Class B or higher CDL driver’s license and insurability.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Flexible schedule: Day Shifts (2:00am–11:00am), Night Shifts (2:00pm–10:30pm).
• Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds above shoulder level.
• Occasionally required to stand, balance, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Regularly required to sit, handle tools, and operate equipment controls.
• Ability to communicate verbally and hear effectively.
• Employees must provide sufficient winter clothing, gloves in good repair, and pac boots in good repair.
