Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a CDL Pipeline Rehabilitation Laborer to support inspections, cleaning and rehabilitation of sewer and storm water pipes. You will operate CDL equipment, perform manual labor, enter manholes, and work with crews under supervision to deliver safe, high‑quality trenchless solutions.

The role demands physical endurance, weather resilience, and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating a Class A or B vehicle (preferably Vac Truck).
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material).
• Equipment driving and operation.
• Entry into manhole and underground structures.
• Pump watch and operation.
