RoadSafe Traffic Systems is hiring a Pavement Marking Technician II to drive and operate pavement marking equipment on road construction projects. The role requires strict safety adherence, coordination with contractors, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

The candidate must hold a valid CDL, pass background checks and drug tests, and complete ATSSA training. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and read plans is essential.

Competenze

• CDL required; must obtain CDL Class B within 60 days of employment.
• Must pass a background check and drug test per DOT requirements.
• Wear safety gear: boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, vest.
• Must complete ATSSA TCT intermediate training and Pavement Marking course as required.

Mansioni

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply paint and thermoplastic.
• Prepare work areas, transport materials and operate company trucks.
• Implement striping plans and perform layout, including intersection markings.
• Lift and move materials and supplies (up to 70 lbs) as needed.
• Maintain and repair pavement marking equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Communicate with contractors, field inspectors, and supervise field personnel.
