Transdev in Canby, Oregon is hiring a CDL Driver to join its elite team. The role focuses on safe, customer-friendly bus operations with adherence to routes and schedules. Starting pay ranges from $24.50 to $27.00 per hour, with potential progression to $30.50 within five years.

Eligible candidates must have a valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsements, at least three years of driving experience, and strong customer service skills. Shifts including Saturdays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safety-Focused Operations: Follow routes and schedules with strict safety adherence.
• Passenger Care: Assist passengers with boarding, rides, and disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues; keep safety gear ready.
• Adherence to Protocols: Enforce seat belts, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

CDL Driver

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Canby, Oregon. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

$24.50 - 27.00 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay scale)

Starting pay $24.50 - 27.00 with progression to $30.50 over 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety-Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care: Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Other duties as required

Physical Requirements:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
